![]() ![]() Where ever he goes Gemma will always remind him of where his home is with her and his family. When I run out of road, you bring me home” Harry and Gemma obviously grew up together, and it’s hard on both of them when they argue but there both stubborn (pretty self explanatory). He also knows that whatever there going through they will make it out ok in the end. I think what he’s saying here is that they know that there’s something in the way of them getting closer as siblings, but there still young and have plenty of time to figure it out. My OpinionIn my personal opinion I think the song is about Gemma, Harry’s sister. That's what i think lol, you can disagree idc but this song has so much meaning to Harry so who ever or what ever its about i'm glad they're in Harry's life. I think Harry is talking about how they have to go somewhere hella secretive because no one can catch them together, and since management doesn't like them being so close Harry misses not be able to talk to Louis enough in public like in the old days. I think the sweet creature is Louis and i think Louis is his home, and even though their relationship might be fucked up because of hiding and being in the closet but he knows the he's his home. I think he's talking about how they started off really good and free, then management came and fucked it up for them and now they argue about shit and they're both stubborn about shit, but Harry knows he can't leave him. They know they belong together, they know it won't be easy. Like to me he's just describing that he knows shit has been rough for them, he knows their love isn't simple but they're still young they have time to figure shit out. My Opinioni personal think its about Louis from 1D lmao I always think about you and how we don't speak enough When I run out of road, you bring me home But I think is important to remember that there’s many different types of things that could be about a person".Had another talk about where it's going wrong I think ‘Sweet Creature’ is definitely about one person. I feel like a lot of my favorite songs that mean something to me… I’d be disappointed if someone told me they were about something else. ![]() I think the best thing about music is that everyone can take away different things, and that’s not wrong, there’s not really a wrong answer. It's important to remember it’s not always necessarily the first thing you might think of, but I obviously would never tell someone what they thought was wrong. When later asked if the person knew the song was about them, Styled stated: "Actually, I don’t know. I think if you really listen to the lyrics, you can work out whether it's about that or not, and I would learn towards no". The fun thing with music is you get to write a song that has all you want to say on it and you don't have to explain it much further than that. ![]() I don't think I'd ever want to tell someone they're wrong for feeling how they feel about a song, even when they're not necessarily right. When Styles was asked to clarify whether Sweet Creature was about fellow bandmate Louis Tomlinson, he stated: "People are always going to speculate what songs are about. This sort of setting is a great use of his voice". He shows off his impressive range on the song’s final chorus, straining expertly to sing, “Sweet creature, sweet creature/ When I run out of rope, you bring me home.” MTV News stated: "Sweet Creature” sounds like someone wanting the intimacy and quiet sensuality of Jeff Buckley’s Grace and Ryan Adams’s Heartbreaker, and those are a strain of grown-up that’s a world away from all we have known of Harry. Rolling Stone gave the song a positive review, stating: "Over tumbling and sprightly guitar picking, Styles details the tumult and potency of young love, fleshing out his lead vocals with simple harmonies and startling background runs. I just wanted to write stuff that was for me and what I feel sounded like me and stuff that I wanted to say and listen to and I feel really happy with it so far." So being mentioned in the same breath as that song is a huge compliment. When asked about the similarities between Sweet Creature and The Beatles Blackbird, Styled stated: "I’m a massive fan of that song, it’s incredible. ![]()
